How it all started

                      Anxiety

For years, my mind was a place of perpetual noise. I navigated the world with a low-grade anxiety that felt like a constant hum under my skin, often dipping into the heavy quiet of depression. I chased every quick fix, every new therapy, but the true skill I lacked—the ability to self-soothe—felt miles away. My nervous system was constantly in a state of high alert, and I didn't know how to calm it down.
Then I traveled to the island of Hawai’i. This wasn't a luxurious escape; it was a journey of necessity. I went there to breathe.
What I discovered wasn’t a cure, but a classroom. The island itself taught me the two most critical skills for inner peace: mindfulness and presence.
The ocean was my first teacher. One afternoon, I was sitting on the black sand beach in Kalapana, overwhelmed by a spiral of anxious thoughts about the past and the future. An older woman, who later became like family, simply pointed to the waves and said, "Look at them. They never worry about the wave that just crashed, and they never worry about the wave that is coming next. They are only the wave that is now."
That simple lesson stuck with me. My new friends taught me how to meditate not by sitting rigidly, but by finding that "now" moment in daily life. I learned to meditate by truly tasting a piece of fresh mango, feeling the grain of the rough bark on a rainbow eucalyptus tree, or watching the slow, deliberate work of the lava flowing into the ocean—a perfect example of patience and presence.
These incredible people, who quickly became my lifelong friends and chosen family, taught me a fundamental truth: You are all you need to find inner peace. It isn't some magical lifestyle change or a sudden breakthrough, though those things can help. It is the simple, powerful act of switching your focus and perspective. They showed me how to make any place I went a home, simply by cultivating that calm inside myself.
The chaos and anxiety I carried were an inevitable reflection of the man-made noise I was consuming—not just the daily stress, but the chemicals and microplastics in the products I used and brought into my most intimate space.
I created this product line—our solid shampoo bars, conditioners, and body butters—with this realization in mind. They are 100% natural and handmade because a clear mind comes from having a clear space first.
We are working toward a sanctuary together. Use these products as a tool, not a solution. Let the scent of the essential oils guide you back to the present moment. Let the simplicity of the natural ingredients ground you. This is the first step in aligning yourself with your true path, while being kind to the incredible planet that taught me how to finally be kind to myself.

                      Burnout

For years, I was defined by my pain. It was the heavy residue of a lifetime spent as an athlete, pushing my body far past its limits. My dedication had turned into a form of self-sabotage, leading to chronic pain and a profound burnout. I was constantly seeking physical relief, not understanding that my pain was a symptom of a deeper disconnect—a failure to nourish my mind, body, and spirit simultaneously.
I learned the hard way that these three pillars aren't optional; they are essential for living a less painful and stressful life. But knowing that truth and living it felt worlds apart, until I went to Guatemala.
I was at a beautiful community gathering. Amidst the rich, earthy scent of a cacao ceremony and the vibrant release of an eclectic dance session, I met the people who would change my life. They were radiating a kind of grounded peace I desperately craved, and they taught me their yoga practices.
One morning, we led a flow together. As we moved, I focused less on the stretch and more on the breath. We ended the session with a group meditation, and the unified, harmonious Om resonated not just in the air, but in my bones. It was an explosive, cleansing release I hadn't known was possible.
I realized then that the body holds onto trauma and stress like a clenched fist. If you never learn to slow down, to surrender, and to truly heal, you will never experience that deep, vital release.
I was fortunate enough to stay with a friend there, a practitioner who understood the deep connection between the physical and the spiritual. He introduced me to ancient healing techniques like cupping and acupuncture. Watching him work, I saw how easing the physical body was the first step to allowing the mind to become truly lucid. With the pain and stagnation released, the mind could finally settle and focus on the present.
The lesson was clear: Everything is connected.
This philosophy is why I've brought these products to you. They are a tangible reminder of how essential it is to be mindful of what you bring into your life. Your body needs to be cared for with gentle ingredients, your environment needs to be soothing, and your mind needs to be lucid.
My journey wasn't about finding a magic cure in Guatemala; it was about learning to pause, listen to the Om in my own body, and heal the burnout from the inside out. My products are designed to support that process, helping you find your center and remember the power of a conscious, clean, and connected life.

                      Clouded Mind

One of the most transformative practices I indulged in was a sound bath. If you've never experienced one, it's a form of active meditation where you lie down, close your eyes, and allow the vibrations from instruments like crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes to wash over you.
The effect was instantaneous.
In that space, the chaos in my head—the worry about yesterday's mistakes and tomorrow's problems—suddenly had nowhere to hide. Sound healing works on the principle that vibration affects every cell in your body, recalibrating the nervous system. It forces your brain out of its stressed, high-frequency state and into the slower, deeper waves associated with relaxation.
• For the Body: The vibrations literally release tension and stagnation, helping to ease the physical holding patterns caused by stress.
• For the Mind: It gives the mind a singular, beautiful focal point (the sound), making it effortless to remain present without the internal struggle of traditional seated meditation.
• For the Soul: The experience connects you to something larger, creating a sense of deep grounding and well-being.
My new friends taught me that this is the essence of true healing: recognizing that the body holds onto stress and trauma, and using techniques like these ancient ceremonies to release it.
We often think achieving peace requires a radical life overhaul, but it begins with small, mindful habits. My products, the simple natural tools in your home, are an extension of that philosophy. They are designed to help you actively practice consuming healthy habits and products, inching you closer to finding the piece of mind we all long for.

                      Disconnection

For years, I was living life on auto-pilot. I was caught in a brutal, exhausting cycle: overwork, under-rest, and absolute stagnation. I was moving, but I wasn't growing. I didn't feel present; I simply didn't feel alive. This feeling of alienation—from my own body, my path, and the beautiful Earth—left me with a deep, hollow ache. Humans, at our core, are meant to be like plants: constantly reaching, constantly learning, constantly pushing toward the light. We are wired for growth, not for being stuck.
My breakthrough came not in a boardroom, but in the vibrant, nurturing embrace of Puerto Rico. The island’s unique culture and its traditional healing arts became the antidote to my modern, frantic disconnection. To reconnect with myself, I learned I had to deliberately and actively reconnect with the Earth beneath my feet and the wisdom of its people.
The ancient practices of the island acted as a powerful reset button. I surrendered to the naturally warm, mineral-rich thermal waters of the Coamo Hot Springs. The intense, soothing heat forced a physical relaxation that my anxious mind had long resisted. It was a lesson in surrender: when the body finally lets go of its chronic tension, the mind is compelled to follow, finally becoming present. I then plunged into the elemental power of mud baths, letting the cool, heavy volcanic clay literally ground me. This ritual of coating myself in earth and then washing it clean was a profound, tangible act of shedding the old, stagnant energy that I carried.
Beyond the formal treatments, the culture of Puerto Rico was continuous, active therapy. The deep immersion in El Yunque National Forest, with the constant life-force energy and the symphony of the coquí frogs, was a daily reminder that my sanctuary was not an escape, but the immediate, vivid moment in nature. Even learning to dance Salsa became a lesson in presence, forcing me to drop the mental chatter and focus entirely on the rhythm and my partner. This vibrant, communal joy dissolved the rigid self-control that had fueled my burnout.
The transformation was clear: flow, not stagnation, is our natural state.
This journey taught me that true connection—to yourself and to the planet—is a series of small, intentional choices. Every time you consciously seek a moment of rest, choose a nourishing ritual, or ground yourself in nature, you are actively choosing growth over auto-pilot. Let my own journey be a reminder: Be intentional with your decisions that align with your goals. Look for those moments of deep connection in your own life. Keep exploring, keep questioning, and keep growing. Never stop.

For too long, the pace of modern life has pushed us toward burnout and disconnection. We are constantly striving, consuming, and rushing, often at the expense of our own well-being and the health of our planet. But what if there was another way? What if the path to inner peace was intrinsically linked to a life of greater sustainability?
I want to extend an invitation to you now: I invite you to join the movement to live a more sustainable and peaceful life.
This movement isn't about perfection; it's about intention. It's about recognizing that the way we treat the Earth is a reflection of how we treat ourselves. The very concept of "Sol Rituals" was born from this understanding—it is meant to help you find that essential inner peace and connection by aligning your daily life with the natural world's rhythm. When we choose habits that are kind to the planet, we are, in effect, choosing habits that are kind to our own bodies and minds.
If you are ready to move beyond the cycle of stress and feel truly rooted again—if you want to dive in head first—I would love to share more about what I practice on a daily basis. This includes everything from simple grounding routines and mindfulness techniques to earth-friendly practices that anchor me in the present moment.
The goal is to cultivate a life of harmony. A life where your energy flows freely, where your decisions are intentional, and where you feel deeply connected to the world around you. This is a journey, and I am here to guide you. If you have questions about where to start, what to change, or how to integrate these practices into your busy schedule, please ask. I will answer any questions you have so that you too can live in harmony.
Let's begin this journey together.
